“This is a painting of a warm and quiet summer’s night. Every time I take a close-up photo of a paint chip with a dark colour my macro lens picks up thousands of specks of dust and it always reminds me of a sky full of stars, so I’ve been thinking about this painting for a while. I think the stars are the smallest thing I’ve ever painted! “

The Stars, painted directly onto the Farrow and Ball paint swatch for Hague Blue, is an original miniature painting by Rachel Spelling. The painting is 2cm x 3cm and it is served on a strip of 12 beautiful colours from the iconic Farrow & Ball colour card, which measures 7.4cm x 21cm. It is sold unframed.

This miniature is signed and dated on the back and it will be accompanied by a signed and embossed certificate of authenticity.
