The Park, painted directly onto the Farrow and Ball paint swatch for Borrowed Light, is an original miniature painting by Rachel Spelling. The painting is 2cm x 3cm and it is served on a strip of twelve beautiful colours from the iconic Farrow & Ball colour card, which measures 7.4cm x 21cm. It is sold unframed.

I’ve always loved the feeling of a city park. There’s plenty of green, but they don’t quite seem to belong to the natural world. I like them best when the sky is grey and still and there’s nothing special happening. The park is a perfect place to drench your ears in music and clear your head, and this is what I was thinking about when I made this painting.

This miniature is signed and dated on the back and it will be accompanied by a signed and embossed certificate of authenticity.

Every single painting is subtly different of course, but you can be assured that I only let tip top paintings leave my studio, I am extremely strict about that.
